I started building frames in 1978 under the direction of Terry Osell. By 1982, I passed the tests for 753 certification. While I was attending The University of Wisconsin - Stout and finishing my degree in Technology Education, I attempted to start The Framebuilders' Guild. Over the years I have built over 500 custom frames which include 80 tandems, over 200 road frames, over 150 mountain bike frames, and about 50 special needs frames. I have always been interested in keeping contact with beginning framebuiders and am willing to help them with questions they may have about getting started. If you have some framebuilding questions, feel free to e-mail me. At this time, I have officially retired from active framebuilding and frame repair. If you are located in the Portland/Vancouver area and need a custom frame built or need to have frame repairs done, contact David Feldmen at (360) 694-4228.
